Data Deletion Request
At ZentroDM, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data and any Instagram account data we have stored on your behalf. This page explains what data we hold and how to request its removal.
1. What Data We Store
When you use ZentroDM, we may store the following data:
- Your name and email address
- Your Instagram account identifiers (username, user ID)
- Instagram access tokens used to send automated DMs
- Automation configurations (keywords, DM templates, post IDs)
- Event logs (DMs sent, comments processed)
- Contact/lead records captured via automations
- Billing and subscription information (via Razorpay)
2. How to Request Data Deletion
You can request complete deletion of your data in two ways:
Option A — From Your Dashboard
Log in to your ZentroDM account → go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will immediately remove all your automations, connected Instagram accounts, contacts, and personal data from our systems.
Option B — Email Request
Send an email to support@zentrodm.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- Your registered email address
- Your Instagram username (if applicable)
- A brief description of what data you want deleted
We will process your request within 10 days and send you a confirmation once the data has been deleted.
3. Instagram / Meta Data
If you connected your Instagram account to ZentroDM via Meta's OAuth flow, we store your Instagram access token and account identifiers to operate the automation service. Upon a deletion request:
- Your Instagram access token is immediately revoked and deleted
- All automation rules linked to your Instagram account are removed
- All event logs and contact records captured via your account are deleted
You can also disconnect your Instagram account directly from the ZentroDM dashboard under Instagram Accounts → Disconnect at any time.
4. What We Cannot Delete
Some data may be retained even after a deletion request where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:
- Transaction records required for tax and accounting purposes (retained for 7 years)
- Fraud prevention and security logs
